a touch of class.

Brief //

For an exclusive fund-raising dinner where the guest speaker was to be the Prime Minister Kevin Rudd, Moore College needed to create a booklet that would communicate the heritage of the College, and also highlight the urgency of its vision for the future.

Solution //

In a departure from the rest of the Moore College collateral material, a square coffee table style booklet was created to add a touch of class and sophistication to the fund-raising event. The cover is simple and reminiscent of photo books and black and white imagery is used throughout. This is complemented by a classic serif typeface and alternating black and white backgrounds. Each spread features a prominent letter which is linked to the content: for example, 'M is for Moore' headlines the first spread of the booklet.

Result //

The client loved the booklet so much that they printed two thousand copies even though only thirty guests were invited to the dinner. The booklet continues to be distributed to alumnis, faculty members, prospective students, ministers, and other supporters of the College.
