Brief //

As part of their 2010 student recruitment and promotional campaign, Moore College approached RM:CREATIVE to develop a fresh and vibrant design for their primary collateral item, which would be a brochure promoting the college's Open Day and their subsequent information nights.

Solution //

Instead of a brochure, RM:CREATIVE convinced the client that a simple A5 postcard would be more effective as a promotional piece. Rather than a busy and cluttered layout, the front of the postcard was kept as clean as possible with maximum white space and minimal text. 'Open Day & Information Nights' became the centrepiece of the design, and a 'neon lights' effect was created by using a palette of bright and vibrant colours to highlight each of the individual letters. The simple tagline 'Consider Moore' was developed to support the visual design so that the postcard would be an overall effective marketing communication. The front of the postcard was printed with a UV varnish for added vibrance and sheen.

Result //

The client was extremely positive in their feedback. In fact, they loved the creative so much that they carried it through their entire advertising and marketing campaign.
